Role Description

As a
Systems Engineer
, you will be responsible for designing, delivering, and maintaining
Azure Cloud infrastructure
for Tier One's customers. You may also provide
advisory and technical consulting services
to internal teams and partners, ensuring scalable, secure, and reliable cloud environments.

Core Skills:

  • Participate in the
    scope definition, architecture design, and deployment
    of Azure Cloud solutions.
  • Configure, manage, and optimize
    Azure Cloud services and infrastructure
    .
  • Administer and maintain existing customers' Azure environments to ensure stability and security.
  • Develop and maintain
    comprehensive documentation
    , including setup guides, procedures, and policies.
  • Mentor and support
    junior cloud administrators and technical team members
    .

Experience & Skills:

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • 5+ years
    of experience in
    cloud-based environments
    .
  • At least 3 years
    of hands-on commercial experience with
    Microsoft Azure
    .
  • Solid understanding of
    Azure architecture, services, and deployment models
    .
  • Proficiency in deploying and managing
    Azure VMs, Storage, Backup, and Virtual Networks
    .
  • Broad technical knowledge across
    cloud computing, programming, database design, operating systems, and hardware
    .
  • Strong grasp of
    system administration concepts
    —including virtualization, containers, storage, encryption, security, networking, firewalls, and load balancing.
  • Extensive experience with
    Windows Servers
    and desktop operating systems.
  • Basic familiarity with
    Unix/Linux
    environments.
  • Understanding of
    project management methodologies
    .
  • Experience using
    Azure native services
    (Policy, Cost Management, Lighthouse, Monitor/Log Analytics, Security Center).

Certifications:

  • Microsoft Azure certifications are
    preferred but not mandatory
    .
