Responsibilities:

  • Design and build advanced, scalable applications written in Kotlin and Java
  • Monitoring the performance of live apps and work on optimizing them at the code level
  • Identifying and resolving bottlenecks, rectifying bugs and enhancing application performance
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to define and design new features
  • Staying up to date with new mobile technology trends, applications, and protocols
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal, formal and informal)

Requirements:

  • Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field
  • 2 – 3 years of experience in Android development
  • Prior experience as an Android Developer using Kotlin, Java, Android SDK, Android NDK
  • Understanding of Google's Android design principles and interface guidelines
  • Proven work experience in design patterns mobile architecture using frameworks such as MVVM/MVC/MVP
  • Recommend alternative effective approaches, utilize new technology to achieve goals
  • Ability to work on complex problems of diverse scope where analyses of situation or data require an in-depth evaluation of various factors which may be challenging to define
  • Design and implement new user-facing features in large, complex mobile applications
  • Must have hands on experience in developing productivity tools in android
  • Familiarity with RESTful APIs to effectively integrate Android applications
  • Must have hands on experience using photo editing libraries, AI Libraries like ChatGPT
  • Experience with FCM push notifications, Google Analytics, Crashlytics, Ads SDKs Integration and google maps
  • Hands on experience with integrating In App Purchases and Subscriptions
  • Proficient understanding of code versioning tools such as Git
  • Familiarity with various testing tools
  • You are a problem solver with good analytical skills
