Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and proactive 
Operations Manager
 to oversee the day-to-day operations of our goods transport truck fleet. The role involves managing vehicle maintenance, breakdowns, driver operations, fuel efficiency, and overall fleet performance. The ideal candidate will ensure smooth, cost-effective, and safe transport operations across all routes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and manage daily operations of the truck fleet.
  • Plan and monitor 
    vehicle maintenance schedules
    , ensuring minimum downtime.
  • Handle 
    breakdowns, repairs, and accident cases
     with timely coordination of workshops and insurance claims.
  • Manage 
    fuel consumption and records
    , ensuring cost efficiency and accountability.
  • Oversee 
    truck drivers
     — including scheduling, discipline, performance, and compliance with transport laws.
  • Maintain 
    trip records, logbooks, and documentation
     related to transport operations.
  • Prepare and present 
    weekly and monthly operational and financial reports
    .
  • Coordinate with clients and internal departments to ensure timely delivery of goods.
  • Implement 
    cost control, safety, and preventive maintenance procedures
    .

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, or Business Administration (preferred).
  • 3–5 years of experience in fleet or transport operations management.
  • Strong leadership, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and fleet management software.
  • Ability to work under pressure and handle on-road emergencies.
