Job Title: Electromechanical Technician (Electronics & 3D Printing)
Location: Electrosolz (ES) Workshop
Reports To: Project Manager / Engineering Lead
Job Purpose:
The Electromechanical Technician will be responsible for assembling, repairing, and maintaining electronic and electromechanical systems, including 3D printers, electronic circuits, and project prototypes. The role involves hands-on soldering, troubleshooting, wiring, and ensuring all machines and devices at Electrosolz operate reliably and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:1. Equipment Maintenance & Repair
- Perform routine maintenance, calibration, and repairs on 3D printers (FDM/SLA) and related equipment.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical, electronic, and mechanical faults in machines and tools.
- Replace or repair faulty components such as sensors, motors, heating elements, power supplies, and wiring.
- Maintain proper records of repairs and preventive maintenance schedules.
2. Electronics Assembly & Soldering
- Assemble electronic circuits and components according to design drawings or schematics.
- Perform precision soldering and desoldering of through-hole and SMD components.
- Test PCBs, wiring harnesses, and assembled electronics for continuity and performance.
- Assist engineers in assembling prototype devices and electronic modules.
3. 3D Printer & Workshop Support
- Calibrate, level, and service FDM and SLA 3D printers to ensure optimal print quality.
- Replace worn-out parts such as nozzles, belts, bearings, and fans.
- Monitor print jobs, identify issues (e.g., layer shifts, clogs, calibration errors), and perform corrective actions.
- Maintain workshop cleanliness and ensure proper tool organization and ESD safety.
4. Testing & Quality Control
- Support testing of new product prototypes (electronics and mechanical assemblies).
- Verify assembled products meet performance and safety standards before delivery.
- Document test results and report issues to engineers or the project manager.
5. Support for Development Projects
- Collaborate with electronics and mechanical engineers to assemble prototype systems.
- Provide feedback on manufacturability, wiring layouts, and assembly techniques.
- Assist in integrating electronic components into enclosures and mechanical structures.
Skills & Competencies
- Strong hands-on skills in soldering, wiring, and electronics repair.
- Knowledge of DC motors, stepper drivers, relays, sensors, and power supplies.
- Understanding of 3D printer operation and maintenance (FDM/SLA).
- Ability to read circuit diagrams, wiring layouts, and mechanical drawings.
- Good troubleshooting, problem-solving, and teamwork skills.
- Safety-conscious and detail-oriented.
Qualifications
- Diploma or degree in Electronics, Mechatronics, or Electrical Technology.
- 2–4 years of experience in electronics repair, maintenance, or assembly.
- Experience with 3D printers or CNC machinery preferred.
Performance Indicators
- Timely and quality repair of 3D printers and electronic devices.
- Minimal downtime of workshop equipment.
- Accurate documentation of repair logs and maintenance activities.
- Reliability and proactive problem-solving in daily operations.
Work Hours
- Full-time, on-site position (Monday to Saturday).
- Flexible hours during urgent project deadlines or testing phases.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: Rs20, Rs40,000.00 per month
