  • Job Title: Test Automation Architect
  • Primary skills: Design, develop, and implement robust test automation frameworks from scratch
  • Secondary skills: Lead Proof of Concepts (PoCs) and Pilot Projects to evaluate tools and automation strategies
  • Location: Hyderabad (Mindspace#12B)
  • Educational Qualification: B.Tech/BE/M.Tech/MCA/M.Sc
  • Experience: 8-14 yrs

Job Description:

Required Skills

  • 8 to 14 years of overall testing experience, with strong focus on test automation.
  • Proven expertise in at least two test automation tools from: Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, TestComplete.
  • Demonstrated experience in building automation frameworks from scratch.
  • Experience in leading PoCs or pilot projects to evaluate new tools and frameworks.
  • Strong problem-solving and solution design skills for QA-related challenges.
  • Effective communication skills with ability to convey complex ideas to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Proven contribution to a Testing Centre of Excellence (TCoE) or similar strategic QA initiative.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and implement robust test automation frameworks from scratch.
  • Lead Proof of Concepts (PoCs) and Pilot Projects to evaluate tools and automation strategies.
  • Provide end-to-end test automation solutions for functional and non-functional testing needs.
  • Mentor and guide QA teams in best practices and standards for automation.
  • Troubleshoot complex automation issues and drive resolution in collaboration with development and QA teams.
  • Evaluate and recommend appropriate test automation tools and frameworks.
  • Participate in or lead efforts related to the Testing Centre of Excellence (TCoE).
  • Collaborate closely with stakeholders to define automation goals, scope, and KPIs.
  • Ensure integration of test automation into CI/CD pipelines for continuous testing
