The Provincial Coordinator will oversee project implementation at the provincial level, coordinate with local stakeholders, monitor progress, ensure compliance with project objectives, and support provincial teams in achieving deliverables.
Key ResponsibilitiesProject Coordination & Implementation
· Lead and coordinate all project activities within the assigned province.
· Develop provincial-level work plans and ensure timely execution.
· Monitor progress and ensure adherence to project guidelines.
Stakeholder Engagement
· Serve as the primary liaison with government bodies, partners, and local stakeholders.
· Facilitate meetings, workshops, and community engagement sessions.
· Build strong relationships to ensure project success.
Monitoring & Reporting
· Track performance indicators and prepare periodic progress reports.
· Identify challenges and escalate issues with solutions.
· Ensure data accuracy and timely submission to the central project team.
Compliance & Quality Assurance
· Ensure compliance with policies, standards, and contractual guidelines.
· Coordinate audits and assessments as required.
Capacity Building
· Guide and support provincial project team members.
· Organize training sessions and provide technical assistance.
Qualifications & Experience
· Bachelor's/Master's in Management, Public Administration, Social Sciences, or related field.
· 5+ years experience in project coordination or development sector roles.
· Experience working with government or donor-funded programs is preferred.
Skills
· Strong leadership and coordination skills.
· Excellent stakeholder management and communication.
· Ability to handle field operations and problem solving.
· Proficiency in MS Office and reporting tools.
Required Certifications:
· PMP (Project Management Professional) – PMI
· PRINCE2 Practitioner
· Certification in Project Monitoring & Evaluation
· Certification in Public Sector / Development Project Management
