Job Type: Full-time

Work Location: In-person (Karachi Pakistan)

Job Description:

We're searching for a highly skilled and experienced Senior PHP/Laravel Developer with 3-5 years of experience to join our development team. You'll be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining robust web applications, ensuring high performance and responsiveness. This is a hands-on role where you'll be a key contributor and mentor, working on a project built on the Laravel framework.

Responsibilities

Lead a team of developers in the design, development, and deployment of web applications.

Write clean, well-structured, and efficient code in PHP using the Laravel framework.

Coordinate directly with clients to understand their needs and provide technical solutions.

Manage and optimize applications hosted on AWS EC2 instances.

Refactor and optimize the existing codebase to improve system performance and architecture.

Implement new features and enhancements based on client requests.

Work with MySQL databases, including schema design and query optimization.

Collaborate with the team using Git and GitHub for version control.

Ensure the team follows best practices in software development, including code reviews and testing.

Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing software.

Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior and mid-level developers.

Required Skills and Qualifications

3-5 years of proven experience as a Senior PHP Developer with a strong portfolio of projects.

Extensive experience with the Laravel framework.

Expertise in PHP, object-oriented programming, and design patterns.

Strong knowledge of MySQL and database design.

Hands-on experience with AWS EC2 or similar cloud platforms.

Proficiency in Git and GitHub.

Experience with front-end technologies like HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for client coordination.

Strong problem-solving and leadership skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Experience in a leadership or team lead role is highly preferred.

Must be able to work in the EST timezone.

Nice to Have

Experience with CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitHub Actions, Jenkins).

Familiarity with modern JavaScript frameworks such as React, Angular, or
