  1. Educational Qualifications


• Bachelor's Degree (B.E./B.Sc.) in Telecommunication Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Electronics Engineering from an HEC-recognized university.


• Preference will be given to candidates holding a Master's Degree in Telecommunications, Wireless Communication, or related specialization.


• Valid registration with Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) as a Professional Engineer (preferred but not mandatory).

  1. Professional Experience


• Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in the installation, configuration, alignment, and commissioning of Microwave Radio Systems (PDH, SDH, IP-based, and hybrid).


• Proven experience working with international brands such as SIAE, Aviat, Huawei, NEC, or Ceragon.


• Minimum 2 successfully completed projects involving Microwave Radio networks (preferably in public-sector or Safe City / Railway / Oil & Gas environments).


• Familiarity with Microwave Link Planning Tools such as Pathloss 5.0, Radio Mobile, or equivalent.


• Demonstrated understanding of LOS (Line of Sight) surveys, Fresnel zone clearance, antenna alignment, and radio frequency interference analysis.

  1. Technical Competencies


• Proficient in:

  • Microwave radio configuration (split-mount & all-outdoor units)

  • Ethernet/IP configuration, VLAN, QoS, and SNMP monitoring

  • System integration with IP-PBX, SDH, OFC, and SCADA networks

  • Preparation of Link Budget Calculations and Path Profiles

  • Firmware upgrades, network troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance


• Knowledge of safety standards, grounding, and surge protection procedures.

  1. Certifications (Preferred)


• OEM-specific certifications (e.g., Microwave Systems, Aviat CTR training, SIAE ALFOplus ,Huwavi Certified Engineer)


• Network certifications such as CCNA/HCNA or equivalent


• RF Safety or Tower Climbing certification (if field role)

  1. Soft Skills


• Excellent communication and reporting skills (English and Urdu)


• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities


• Capability to train junior technicians and manage field teams


• Willingness to travel within Sindh and Punjab for site deployment and testing

  1. Other Requirements


• Must be based in or willing to relocate to Pakistan for the duration of the project


• Valid CNIC, PEC Card, and Police Verification Certificate required


• Medically fit and physically capable of working in field environments


• Must comply with HSE and project-specific safety protocols

  1. Reporting & Deliverables


• Reports to the Project Manager (Telecom Division)


• Responsible for:

  • interaction with client

  • Daily site progress reports

  • Link commissioning records and acceptance test results

  • As-Built documentation and network configuration backups
