OpenCart Expert (PHP Specialist – E-Commerce)

Location:
Karachi (Full-time, On-site)

Working Hours:

• Monday to Friday: 4:00 AM – 1:00 PM (Pakistan Time)
• Saturday: 5:00 AM – 10:00 AM (Pakistan Time)

Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled PHP Developer with strong expertise in
OpenCart (mandatory)
. The role involves managing, customizing, and optimizing our
e-commerce platform
to ensure security, scalability, and high performance.

Role & Responsibilities

1. OpenCart Development

2. Manage and customize OpenCart (frontend & backend).

3. Develop and enhance themes, extensions, and modules.
4. Integrate
   payment gateways, shipping APIs, and third-party tools
   .

5. Optimize performance, SEO, and overall user experience.

6. PHP Development

7. Write clean, scalable code, troubleshoot, debug, and follow best practices in testing, CI/CD, and version control.

8. Collaboration & Strategy

9. Align solutions with business goals, support marketing/automation initiatives, and recommend tech improvements.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years' experience in
  OpenCart development & PHP
  .
• Expertise in
  OpenCart (themes, extensions, APIs, customization, and performance optimization)
  is a mandatory requirement.
• Strong command of PHP, MySQL, MVC, JavaScript, jQuery, and AJAX.
• Hands-on experience with Git, CI/CD, and agile workflows.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently as well as in a team.
