
Maintenance Engineer

Job Purpose
To supervise, execute and monitor the maintenance activities within the value stream to ensure reliable & optimal operation of processes, equipment, utility and facility to achieve the target production levels within the framework of current 'Good Manufacturing Practice (cGMP), quality and safety.
To provide compliance support to Engineering Department in documentation, audit and Coordinate with Engineering stream members for documentation, maintenance of equipment's (CMMS) and financial compliance.
Education, Experience & Skills
Area of specialization: Electronics/ Electrical/ Mechanical/Mechatronic
B.E. (Electronics/ Electrical/ Mechanical/Mechatronic)
5 – 8 years minimum experience as a technical.
Computer System Validation
Computer literacy can use emails for official correspondence.
Proficient in the Use of MS-Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) at least to a moderate level
Energetic, goal-oriented, flexible and a self-starter with time management skills.
Building staff capability to meet engineering standards.
Technical Acumen (Thinking, Reasoning, Logic)
Strong teamwork with an ability to interact with people across all functions and levels within the organization.
Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
Troubleshooting and problem-solving skills; root cause analysis.
Key Responsibilities
Ensure all machines are working smoothly with proper electronic maintenance and all equipment's are properly maintained, tagged, and calibrated in timely manner.
Identify and implement improvements to plant facilities, processes, methods of operations and turnaround, troubleshoot for process and equipment problems to minimize safety and quality risks as well as to ensure greater operational efficiency.
Ensure in-house systems and practices to improve the efficiency of the stores environment. Also ensure availability of spare parts for production machines related to the area and arrange for parts in coordination with the Maintenance Manager when required during corrective maintenance.
Coordinate in executing computerized system validation process. Support engineering and other stakeholders in validation activities and completion of documentation.
Ensure that requirements of TP-13 are fulfilled in the concerned area. Participate in Quality and EHS Level 2 audits and ensure timely completion of identified actions.
Governance of the site's CMMS system which includes but not limited to timely closure of all PM & CM workorders, PM plan adherence, Site Annual Maintenance Plan reviews.
Ensure end to end implementation of refurbishment, modification of machines and installation of new machines and equipment and that all the machines zero access guarding is appropriate in compliance of machinery safety requirements and GES110.
Co-Ordinate with the relevant parties and contribute to the development of the monthly production plan in accordance with maintenance plans. Provide inputs to prepare preventive maintenance plan for area of responsibility to ensure its effective implementation.
Review, analyse and recommend equipment maintenance strategies and/or asset care with both engineering and operational teams to reduce the impact of unplanned maintenance, relating to downtime, costs, and spares/consumables usage.
