Requirements:

  • Design, build and maintain high performance, reusable, and reliable code.
  • Proficient in Java and Kotlin.
  • Ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of the application.
  • Help maintain code quality, organization, and automatization.
  • Utilize native and instrumentation test code.
  • Knowledge of open-source and commercial libraries commonly used in Android, including Android architecture components, Jetpack, Dagger, Room, Retrofit, etc.
  • Performing Unit Development Kit (NDK) for performance-critical sections of the application.
  • Proven work experience in designing modern mobile architecture using frameworks such as MVI/MVVM, etc.
  • Strong knowledge of Android SDK, different versions of Android, and how to deal with different screen sizes.
  • Strong knowledge of Android UI design principles, patterns, and best practices.
  • Strong knowledge of Android profiling tools and performance tuning.
  • Understanding of Google's Android design principles and interface guidelines.
  • Familiarity with RESTful APIs to connect Android applications to back-end services.
  • Understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git.
