Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a CPC Coder, located in Rawalpindi. The CPC Coder will be responsible for accurately coding medical records using standard coding guidelines, ensuring proper use of CPT, ICD-10, and HCPCS codes. The role entails reviewing and analyzing patient medical records, ensuring coded data integrity and consistency. The CPC Coder will liaise with healthcare professionals to clarify diagnoses and medical content, and ensure complete and accurate coding of diagnoses and procedures.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in CPT, ICD-10, and HCPCS coding
  • Experience in medical record review and analysis
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in code application
  • Strong understanding of medical terminology and healthcare procedures
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Certification from AAPC or AHIMA as a CPC (Certified Professional Coder)
  • Ability to work independently and within a team
  • Experience with electronic medical record (EMR) systems is a plus
  • Bachelor's degree in Health Information Management, or a related field is preferable
