About the Role:

OBHost is looking for a skilled Backend Developer with strong expertise in Core PHP and Laravel. If you are passionate about backend development, love solving complex problems, and want to work on global-scale hosting & cloud projects, we want to hear from you

(Knowledge of CodeIgniter will be considered a plus.)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, maintain, and enhance backend applications, APIs, and dashboards.
  • Write clean, secure, and scalable code using Core PHP and Laravel.
  • Work with MySQL databases and ensure efficient server-side logic.
  • Collaborate with the front-end team to integrate user-facing elements.
  • Optimize applications for speed, performance, and security.
  • Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing systems.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Backend Developer.
  • Strong hands-on expertise in Core PHP and Laravel.
  • Knowledge of CodeIgniter (a plus, not mandatory).
  • Strong skills in HTML, CSS & JavaScript.
  • Strong hands-on expertise in REST APIs and database design.
  • Familiarity with performance & speed optimization techniques.
  • Ability to work independently and manage tasks effectively.
