Network & System Administrator

Position Summary

The Network & System Administrator will be responsible for maintaining, securing, and optimizing the company's IT infrastructure, including servers, LAN/WAN networks, user systems, and cloud services. The role ensures smooth IT operations that support manufacturing, R&D, inventory, and office management systems.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Network Administration

• Manage and maintain LAN/WAN infrastructure, switches, routers and firewalls.
• Ensure reliable internet connectivity and troubleshoot network issues.
• Monitor bandwidth usage and optimize performance.
• Manage VPNs for branch offices or remote users.

2. System Administration

• Install, configure, and maintain Windows/Linux servers (Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, File/Print Servers, etc.).
• Manage email systems (Microsoft 365 / Google Workspace).
• Perform regular data backups, system updates, and patch management.
• Ensure server and endpoint security, antivirus updates, and firewall rules.

3. IT Security & Data Protection

• Implement and monitor network security policies.
• Manage user access control and cybersecurity protocols.
• Regularly audit and test system vulnerabilities.
• Coordinate with management for disaster recovery and data backup plans.

4. Support & Troubleshooting

• Provide technical support to office and manufacturing staff.
• Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and printer-related issues.
• Maintain IT equipment inventory and coordinate with vendors.

5. Coordination & Documentation

• Maintain IT infrastructure documentation (IP schema, device inventory, system diagrams).
• Coordinate with ERP or software vendors for integrations and support.
• Recommend upgrades and improvements in IT infrastructure.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

Education:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, IT, or related field.
• Relevant certifications preferred (e.g., CCNA, MCSA, CompTIA Network+/Security+, Microsoft Azure Administrator).

Experience:

• 3–5 years of hands-on experience as a Network/System Administrator or similar IT role.
• Experience in manufacturing or pharmaceutical environments is a plus.

Technical Skills:

• Strong knowledge of Windows Server / Linux systems.
• Familiarity with VMware / Hyper-V virtualization.
• Network management (Cisco, Mikrotik, Ubiquiti, etc.).
• Backup and recovery tools (Veeam, Acronis, etc.).
• Firewall and security management.
• Understanding of ERP systems and database connectivity (e.g., SQL Server).

Soft Skills:

• Excellent problem-solving and analytical thinking.
• Strong communication and documentation ability.
• Time management and prioritization under pressure.
• Ethical handling of sensitive data and systems.

Qualifications & Experience

Education:
