We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Grant Writer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for researching funding opportunities, developing compelling proposals, and preparing grant applications that align with our organization's mission and goals.

Key Responsibilities:

Research and identify new grant opportunities from government, corporate, and foundation sources.

Develop, write, and submit high-quality grant proposals, letters of inquiry, and supporting documents.

Collaborate with program staff and leadership to gather necessary information for proposals and reports.

Maintain a grants calendar to ensure timely submission of applications and reports.

Track and document all grant activity, including deadlines, submissions, awards, and reporting requirements.

Ensure all proposals align with funder guidelines and organizational objectives.

Prepare post-award reports and assist with funder communications as required.

Stay informed about trends and best practices in grant funding and nonprofit development.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in English, Communications, or a related field (Master's preferred).

Proven experience (2–4 years) in grant writing, fundraising, or proposal development.

Excellent writing, editing, and research skills.

Strong attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines.

Familiarity with grant databases and funding research tools.

Ability to work independently and collaboratively across departments.
