Parker Russell Lahore office is hiring an IT Support Officer for its UAE based project located in Gulberg, Lahore.

IT Support will provide and Manage IT Technical And Network Support to Employees.

Key Responsibilities and Accountability

  • Provide technical support and perform configuration/maintenance for hardware, software, and peripherals including Windows, macOS, printers, scanners, access points, and mobile devices
  • Respond to IT help desk/service desk tickets, troubleshoot incidents (minor and major), and ensure timely resolution with proper documentation.
  • Configure and set up desktops, laptops, and workstations for new users, including Active Directory account creation, user profiles, email accounts, and signatures.
  • Install, configure, and upgrade operating systems (Windows, macOS) and business applications.
  • Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot desktops, laptops, and related hardware.
  • Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve end-user software, hardware, and network issues, providing alternate solutions when required.
  • Manage wired and wireless networks, troubleshoot LAN/WAN connectivity issues, and configure DHCP, DNS, VPN, and Wi-Fi.
  • Assist with configuration and maintenance of network devices such as routers, switches, and firewalls.
  • Monitor network performance, uptime, and availability; assist with implementation of basic network security practices (access control, endpoint protection).
  • Manage shared permissions on file servers and ensure secure access control.
  • Perform regular server backups and maintain IT asset inventory, including annual updates.
  • Generate and maintain technical reports (end-user device reports, problem analysis, issue handling, and resolution tracking).
  • Support application installation, updates, and system maintenance activities.
  • Ensure efficient and proactive resolution of IT-related issues, minimizing downtime and ensuring continuity of business operations.

Experience Required

  • 2-3 years

Education:

  • Bachelor of Computer Application or other related fields
  • CCNA, MCSA, ITIL
