We are seeking an experienced Medical Coder to support our US-based clinic partners. The ideal candidate will have strong command over CPT, ICD-10, and HCPCS codes, with a preference for candidates who have worked with ophthalmology coding, modifiers, and payer-specific rules.

Key Responsibilities

• Assign accurate CPT, ICD-10, and HCPCS codes based on clinical documentation
• Ensure all coding follows payer-specific guidelines and industry standards
• Review provider notes for completeness, accuracy, and compliance
• Work closely with billing teams to reduce denials related to coding
• Identify coding trends, errors, and areas for improvement
• Assist in appeals for coding-related denials
• Maintain detailed coding records and audit logs
• Follow all HIPAA and internal compliance requirements
• Provide feedback to providers or team members when clarification is needed

Required Skills & Qualifications

• CPC certification is required
• Minimum 2 to 3 years of coding experience
• Experience with ophthalmology coding is highly preferred
• Strong understanding of modifiers, NCCI edits, and payer rules
• Ability to read and interpret detailed clinical documentation
• Excellent English communication skills (written and spoken)
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work in fast-paced and evening-shift environments
• HIPAA compliance knowledge

Work Schedule

• Timings: 6:00 PM – 3:00 AM, Monday to Friday
• Location: Rawalpindi (on-site only)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Rs160, Rs250,000.00 per month
