Job Overview

Provide expert petrophysical support by processing and interpreting well logs. Support standalone well analysis and Petrophysical interpretation for the field development studies.

Skills

  • Solid understanding of tool physics , log calibration , and petrophysical uncertainty analysis.
  • Skilled in integrated Open Hole and Cased Hole petrophysical evaluation.
  • Proficiency in software such as Techlog, Interactive Petrophysics (IP), Geolog , and petrophysical modeling tools.
  • Proficient in quality control, processing, and interpretation of log data for accurate subsurface evaluation.
  • Advanced interpretation of both conventional and advanced wireline logs (e.g., NMR, image logs, spectroscopy).
  • Skilled in calibrating petrophysical models using laboratory data including core analysis, SCAL, and PVT data.
  • Experienced in developing and applying Saturation Height Models (SHM) by integrating core, capillary pressure, and log-derived data.
  • Strong client-facing skills, with the ability to build effective and respectful communication during pre-job planning, project execution, and post-job technical support.

PREFERRED

Experience with Techlog software

Qualifications

  • Minimum of Bachelor's degree in Geology or geophysics, Petroleum Engineering .
  • Minimum of 4-5 years experiences working with an operator/ service companies as a Petrophysicits.
