To optimize content for both traditional search engines (SEO) and AI-driven interfaces like ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini, and other Large Language Models — making sure your brand appears in AI-generated answers and search results.

Key Responsibilities
  • SEO Mastery — Conduct keyword research, optimize on-page elements, improve site structure, and ensure technical SEO best practices.
  • AEO & GEO Optimization — Structure and format content for AI engines to reference and cite.
  • LLM Ranking — Develop strategies to appear in AI-generated search results across platforms like ChatGPT, Claude, and Perplexity.
  • Content Strategy — Collaborate with AI-powered writers to create highly rankable and AI-friendly content.
  • Data Analysis — Use analytics tools (GA4, GSC, AI dashboards) to measure search performance and refine strategies.
  • AI Tool Integration — Leverage AI tools for keyword clustering, content optimization, and automation.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
  • Keyword Research — but with AI augmentation (e.g., SEMrush, Ahrefs + ChatGPT for clustering & gap analysis).
  • On-Page Optimization — schema markup, meta tags, internal linking.
  • Technical SEO — crawlability, site speed, mobile-first indexing.

  • Content Strategy — blog, landing pages, pillar content.

  • Understanding how LLMs source and rank content.

  • Optimizing for featured snippets, People Also Ask, and AI Overviews.

  • Structuring content for machine comprehension (clean HTML, structured data, Q&A format).

  • Knowing how AI engines (Perplexity, Bing Chat, Google SGE) cite sources.

  • Creating cite-worthy, factual, and authoritative content.

  • Experimenting with prompt-engineered content to influence AI outputs.

  • Researching what LLMs are trained on and pull from.

  • Optimizing for brand mentions in high-authority sources.

  • Understanding semantic search & embeddings.

  • ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity, Gemini.

  • SurferSEO, Clearscope, MarketMuse.
  • AI-based keyword clustering tools (Keyword Insights, LowFruits, etc.).

  • Automation with Zapier/Make to speed up publishing.

  • Experience with programmatic SEO (scaling pages with AI + templates).

  • Content repurposing for multi-platform reach.
  • Knowledge of voice search & multimodal SEO.
  • Experience in data-driven decision making via Google Analytics 4 + AI dashboards.
