This is a grant-funded contractual position.
 

Job Role / Responsibilities:

Your specific responsibilities include to:

  • Design and develop promotional materials and communication tools to support advocacy initiatives;
  • plan and execute promotional activities for seminars, workshops, and project-related events;
  • develop research-related content, including project briefs, concept notes, and technical summaries;
  • prepare communication materials (presentations, policy briefs, newsletters) to disseminate research findings;
  • maintain consistency and accuracy of research information across all internal and external communication materials;
  • collaborate with investigators and field teams to translate research outputs into accessible, audience-appropriate content;
  • plan and implement the media coverage at various levels which includes electronic and print media in coordination with AKU Media department;
  • it involves submitting multiple editorials related to research studies after getting approval from related supervisors;
  • use various modes of social media and website to promote academic/educational programs, faculty research, clinical and community service and relevant faculty and staff achievements and accomplishments;
  • undertake a wide range of communications work including website management, social media engagement, outreach to partners and other stakeholders, internal reports and general correspondence;
  • Travel to multiple field sites as per the requirement of assignment.
     

Eligibility Criteria / Requirements:

You should have:

  • Master's in English literature or equivalent;
  • 4 to 6 years of work experience preferably in the field of preparing promotional materials and editorial would be an added advantage;    
  • excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills;
  • strong communication and language skills particularly in English;
  • ability to manage time and prioritize tasks effectively;
  • resilience and ability to cope up with work pressure and stringent deadlines;
  • demonstrated ability to work in a professional, multi-disciplinary team;

  • willing to travel for work in the communities / rural field sites as per the requirement;
