Video editor and graphic designer

We are seeking a talented and creative Video Editor to join our team. The Video Editor will be responsible for assembling recorded footage, applying artistic editing techniques, and creating finished, broadcast-worthy projects that accurately reflect the vision of the production team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Edit raw video footage into compelling, high-quality content.
  • Trim footage segments and assemble the sequence of the film.
  • Add music, dialogue, graphics, and effects.
  • Create rough and final cuts.
  • Ensure logical sequencing and smooth running.
  • Collaborate with producers, directors, and other team members to achieve desired results.
  • Review shooting script and raw material to create a shot decision list based on scenes' value and contribution to continuity.
  • Continuously discover and implement new editing technologies and industry's best practices to maximize efficiency.
  • Manage and organize digital assets and maintain backups.
  • Adjust and correct color, audio, and other post-production elements.

Requirements:

  • Proven work experience as a Video Editor.
  • Proficiency with editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or similar.
  • Solid understanding of storytelling, timing, pacing, and continuity.
  • Familiarity with special effects, 3D, and compositing.
  • Ability to work with a creative team and take feedback constructively.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Knowledge of motion graphics or animation is a plus.
