Role Overview

As a Remote Python Backend Developer, you will be responsible for building and maintaining high-performance backend services mainly using Django, integrating with third-party services, and contributing to the architecture of scalable systems. You will work closely with international team members and must be comfortable communicating and collaborating in English.

Required Qualifications:

  • 1–2 years of professional experience in backend API development
  • Strong hands-on experience with Django
  • Proficient in containerization tools like Docker
  • Solid understanding of relational databases like PostgreSQL or MySQL
  • Experience with AWS services and serverless architecture
  • Skilled in third-party API integrations
  • Familiarity with Git and version control best practices
  • Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills
  • Fluent in English – both written and verbal

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain secure, scalable backend systems using Django/FastAPI
  • Build and document RESTful APIs
  • Collaborate remotely with cross-functional teams across time zones
  • Optimize backend performance for speed and reliability
  • Participate in architectural decisions and solution design discussions
