The Chemical Engineer will be responsible for developing, optimizing, and supervising chemical processes to ensure efficient, safe, and cost-effective production. The role requires strong technical expertise, hands-on problem-solving ability, and experience in process improvement, quality assurance, and compliance with safety/environmental standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and optimize chemical processes for production efficiency and product quality.
  • Monitor daily plant operations, troubleshoot issues, and provide technical solutions.
  • Conduct research and testing to improve existing products and develop new ones.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations in all operations.
  • Collaborate with production, quality control, and maintenance teams to streamline workflows.
  • Analyze process data, prepare reports, and recommend improvements.
  • Supervise and train junior staff or technicians within the department.
  • Support in audits, certifications, and regulatory inspections.
  • Manage raw material usage to minimize waste and reduce costs.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering (Master's preferred but not mandatory).
  • Experience: Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in chemical process engineering,
  • Strong knowledge of chemical process design, safety standards, and industrial equipment.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, process simulation, and data analysis tools.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
