We are looking for a talented Video Editor who can take our existing video clips and still images and transform them into polished, attention-grabbing videos for social media platforms. Familiarity with AI video editing tools is an essential part of the job.

Position Overview

The Video Editor will be responsible for turning raw footage and static images into visually appealing short-form videos optimized for platforms like Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, TikTok, and YouTube Shorts. This role requires creativity, a good sense of storytelling, and a strong understanding of social media trends to maximize viewer engagement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Review, organize, and select the best footage and still images from provided assets.
  • Edit videos to create dynamic, high-impact content optimized for various social media platforms.
  • Add engaging transitions, captions, music, and motion graphics to enhance viewer retention.
  • Ensure all videos align with brand guidelines and messaging tone.
  • Repurpose existing content into multiple formats (short clips, reels, teasers, etc.).
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to brainstorm creative concepts and campaign ideas.
  • Stay updated on the latest video trends, editing techniques, and platform algorithms.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in video editing for social media (portfolio required).
  • Proficiency with editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve.
  • Experience with motion graphics tools like Adobe After Effects is a plus.
  • Strong sense of visual storytelling and pacing.
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision and meet tight deadlines.
  • Knowledge of social media best practices, aspect ratios, and format requirements.
