Project Manager – Backend Developer

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Project Manager with a strong backend development background to join our team. The ideal candidate will combine hands-on technical expertise with leadership skills to effectively manage projects and ensure the successful delivery of backend systems and solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage backend development projects from initiation to completion.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to define requirements, timelines, and deliverables.
  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend systems.
  • Monitor project progress, identify risks, and ensure timely resolution of issues.
  • Conduct code reviews, enforce best practices, and mentor junior developers.
  • Prepare reports and communicate project status to stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years of
    professional
    experience in backend development (Python, Django, , or similar).
  • Proven track record of managing software development projects.
  • Strong knowledge of RESTful APIs, databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, SQL Server), and cloud platforms (Azure/AWS).
  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to balance hands-on coding with project management responsibilities.
