The Mission

We're looking for a Data Protection Officer (DPO) with strong IT and cybersecurity awareness to help ensure that our UK and Pakistan operations remain fully compliant with:

  • UK GDPR & the Data Protection Act 2018

  • NHS DSPT & Caldicott Principles

  • ISO/IEC Information Security)

  • Cyber Essentials & Cyber Essentials Plus

  • NHS & public sector framework contracts

This is not a theoretical role — you'll shape real compliance architecture, advise our board, and protect real patient data.

What You'll Do

  • Lead DPIAs, SARs, RoPA, breach response & policy writing

  • Advise on secure data handling between UK and Pakistan teams

  • Own Cyber Essentials & ISO27001 documentation and audit prep

  • Train staff, liaise with IT & oversee real-world compliance delivery

  • Support NHS DSPT submissions and liaise with NHS partners

Who You Are

You might be a compliance consultant, infosec analyst, NHS data lead, or DPO-in-waiting — but you're ready to step into an internationally-facing, board-level role where your ideas, judgment, and ethics shape how data is protected across borders.

We're looking for someone who has:

  • 3–7 years in data protection, compliance, or cybersecurity

  • UK GDPR knowledge with practical experience (DPIAs, RoPA, SARs)

  • Exposure to NHS or health sector data handling preferred

  • Awareness of Cyber Essentials and ISO 27001

  • Excellent written/spoken English and confident cross-team collaboration

  • Pakistan-based but responsive to UK time zones

Bonus if you hold:

  • CIPP/E, ISO 27001 Auditor/Implementer, NHS DSPT certifications
