The Division Jonas Club, a division of Jonas Software, an operating group of Constellation Software Inc, has helped over 2,300 clubs around the world discover the right mix of software solutions to optimize the management of their unique businesses. We have achieved this by providing, and customizing, a fully integrated suite of applications designed to manage business areas such as Accounting & Membership, Food & Beverage, Retail Sales, Spas, Gyms, Fitness Centers & Classes, Payroll, Employee Management & HR, Hotels, Marinas & more. The position We are seeking a highly capable SQA & Business Analyst who combines deep expertise in manual software testing with strong analytical skills. This hybrid role requires involvement from the earliest phases of product development, offering critical insights during requirements gathering, evaluating implementation impacts, and ensuring software quality throughout the lifecycle. The successful candidate will serve as a quality gatekeeper and business partner to R&D, bringing strong knowledge of accounting or accounting systems to help deliver reliable and client-centered solutions. The successful hires will be located and work out of the Contour Software Karachi office, working as part of the resource-center team, as an extension of the onshore R&D team. Key Responsibilities:
• Participate in requirement analysis sessions to understand and validate business needs and functional expectations.
• Plan, schedule, and execute comprehensive manual testing strategies aligned with project objectives.
• Develop, maintain, and enhance test cases and test scripts based on business and technical requirements.
• Conduct functional, regression, application, integration, and performance testing across desktop and web-based applications.
• Collaborate closely with product developers, business analysts, and technical support teams to identify, document, and resolve issues.
• Assess system impacts and provide recommendations to enhance product reliability and user experience.
• Ensure detailed, up-to-date documentation of test cases, outcomes, and system behavior.
• Support UAT efforts and work closely with stakeholders to validate final deliverables. Qualifications & Skills
• University degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related discipline.
• Minimum of 5 years of hands-on manual testing experience in customer-facing enterprise applications.
• Understanding of accounting principles and/or experience with accounting applications.
• Proficient in testing desktop and web-based applications.
• Solid knowledge of web technologies such as HTML, CSS, and APIs.
• Experience writing and executing SQL queries; familiarity with relational databases (MS SQL preferred).
• Deep understanding of the software development lifecycle and quality assurance methodologies.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Effective verbal and written communication in English.
• Proactive, self-driven, and adaptable with a strong sense of ownership.
• Committed to continuous learning and improvement in QA practices. Nice to Have:
