Job Overview:

As an Architect, you will play a key role in the design and development of architectural projects, collaborating with clients, engineers, and construction teams to bring creative visions to life. Your responsibilities will include conceptualizing designs, creating detailed plans and drawings, and overseeing project implementation to ensure compliance with specifications and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conceptual Design:
• Collaborate with clients to understand their needs, preferences, and project requirements.
• Develop creative and innovative design concepts that align with client objectives, site conditions, and budget constraints.
• Technical Drawings:
• Create detailed architectural drawings, plans, and blueprints using Computer-Aided Design (CAD) software.
• Generate floor plans, elevations, sections, and construction details to communicate design intent to stakeholders.
• Building Codes and Regulations:
• Ensure designs comply with building codes, zoning regulations, and other legal requirements.
• Obtain necessary permits and approvals from local authorities for project implementation.
• Material Selection and Specifications:
• Research and select appropriate materials, finishes, and construction methods for projects.
• Prepare specifications and material schedules to guide procurement and construction processes.
• Project Management:
• Coordinate with engineers, consultants, contractors, and vendors throughout the design and construction phases.
• Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery.
• Quality Control:
• Conduct site visits and inspections to monitor construction progress and ensure adherence to design specifications and quality standards.
• Address any design discrepancies or construction issues that arise during the project lifecycle.
• Client Communication:
• Maintain regular communication with clients to provide project updates, address concerns, and solicit feedback.
• Present design proposals, renderings, and presentations to clients for review and approval.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture from an accredited institution.
• Proficiency in Computer-Aided Design (CAD) software such as AutoCAD, Revit, or SketchUp.
• Strong design sensibility with the ability to translate conceptual ideas into practical solutions.
• Knowledge of building codes, zoning regulations, and construction practices.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
• Attention to detail and ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Prior experience in architectural design, project management, or related fields is preferred but not required.
