About the Role

We are looking for a skilled and reliable WordPress Specialist to join our team on a part-time remote basis. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in WordPress development and maintenance, along with hands-on expertise in WooCommerce product listing and management. Experience with Shopify is a strong plus. You should be able to work independently, troubleshoot issues efficiently, and ensure the website remains fully functional and optimized.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, maintain, and update WordPress websites.
  • Add new products to WooCommerce, including titles, descriptions, prices, categories, tags, and images.
  • Create, edit, and manage website pages using page builders (e.g., Elementor, WPBakery, Gutenberg).
  • Manage and list products on WooCommerce, including images, descriptions, pricing, attributes, and categories.
  • Customise themes, plugins, and page layouts as needed.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve website performance, functionality, and compatibility issues.
  • Ensure website security, backups, and plugin/theme updates are done regularly.
  • Optimise websites for speed, SEO best practices, and mobile responsiveness.
  • Coordinate with the team for content updates and new feature rollouts.
  • Provide technical support and propose improvements proactively.

Requirements

  • Proven experience working with WordPress and WooCommerce.
  • Strong understanding of WordPress themes, plugins, and basic PHP/HTML/CSS.
  • Ability to work and troubleshoot independently with minimal supervision.
  • Experience with product data entry, bulk uploads, and WooCommerce settings.
  • Familiarity with website optimization, SEO tools, and security best practices.
  • Excellent communication and time management skills.
  • Reliable internet connection and ability to meet deadlines consistently.

Preferred

  • Experience with Elementor, WPBakery, or other page builders.
  • Experience with Shopify store management is preferred.
  • Knowledge of basic graphic editing (e.g., resizing images for listings).
  • Familiarity with cPanel or hosting dashboards.

Work Schedule & Compensation

  • Part-time position (flexible hours, remote work).
  • Competitive hourly or fixed monthly compensation (based on experience).
  • Potential for increased hours or full-time role in the future.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: Rs15, Rs25,000.00 per month
