Trainee Accountant

Key Responsibilities

As a Trainee Accountant, you will be closely mentored and trained in various accounting and finance tasks, including:

• Assisting in preparing financial statements and reports
• Processing invoices, expense claims, and payments
• Supporting month-end and year-end close processes
• Maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records
• Reconciling bank statements and ledger accounts
• Assisting with audits and internal controls
• Learning relevant accounting software and ERP systems

Requirements

A degree in Accounting or currently pursuing professional qualifications such as ACCA

Basic understanding of accounting principles

Strong numerical and analytical skills

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other MS Office applications

Eagerness to learn and grow within the finance function

Strong verbal and written communication skills

Preferred:

• Working toward a professional qualification (e.g. ACCA)
• Previous internship or office-based experience (not mandatory)
