Description:

We are looking for a Junior QA Engineer with 6 months to 1 year of experience to join our QA team. As a Junior QA Engineer, you will assist in ensuring the quality of our web and mobile applications by performing manual testing, writing test cases, and reporting bugs. You'll collaborate closely with developers, designers, and product managers to help deliver reliable, high-quality products.

Requirements:

● 6 months to 1 year of experience in software testing

● Basic understanding of SDLC and STLC

● Experience in WordPress, Shopify, and WooCommerce QA

● Familiarity with bug tracking and test management tools (e.g., Clickup, Jira, Trello)

● Good understanding of web and mobile app testing

● Knowledge of different types of testing (functional, UI, smoke, regression)

● Ability to write simple test cases and scenarios

● Strong attention to detail and a passion for delivering quality software

● Basic understanding of HTML/CSS and browser developer tools

● Good communication and documentation skills

Responsibilities:

● Execute manual test cases based on product requirements and specifications.

● Report bugs clearly using tools like ClickUp, Jira, Trello or Docs

● Maintain a well-documented log of identified bugs and issues to ensure they can be easily tracked, reviewed, and verified during retesting

● Perform regression, functional, UI/UX, and cross-browser testing

● Collaborate with the QA lead and developers to clarify requirements and resolve issues

● Participate in sprint planning and QA-related discussions

● Document test results and maintain clear test reports

● Provide feedback on usability, performance, and edge cases
