The Home Chef will be responsible for planning, preparing, and presenting fresh, hygienic, and nutritious meals based on the family's or client's preferences. The role includes menu planning, ingredient sourcing, maintaining kitchen hygiene, and ensuring a high standard of taste, food safety, and presentation.

Key Responsibilities:

Cooking & Meal Preparation

• Prepare daily meals (breakfast, lunch, dinner, snacks) according to the family's taste, dietary needs, and cultural preferences.
• Cook a variety of cuisines (e.g., Pakistani, Continental, Chinese, Italian, healthy meals, etc., based on requirement).
• Ensure attractive food presentation and consistent taste.
• Prepare meals for special occasions, gatherings, and guests when required.

Menu & Kitchen Management

• Develop weekly or monthly meal plans.
• Maintain kitchen cleanliness, including utensils, countertops, and cooking appliances.
• Manage pantry and ensure timely grocery refills.
• Maintain stock of fresh ingredients and avoid wastage.

Health, Safety & Hygiene

• Follow proper hygiene standards, food safety protocols, and cleanliness guidelines.
• Ensure proper storage of raw and cooked food items.
• Use best cooking practices to maintain nutritional value.

Other Duties (as required)

• Bake or prepare special items (desserts, diet meals, lunch boxes, kids' meals, etc.).
• Handle grocery shopping or coordinate with household staff for purchasing ingredients.
• Manage kitchen budget efficiently (if assigned).

• Strong cooking skills across multiple cuisines
• Good knowledge of ingredients, flavors, and nutritional values
• Excellent time management and meal scheduling
• Kitchen hygiene and food safety awareness
• Creativity in menu planning and presentation
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
