Associate Manager – Data Analytics | MAF Retail | Head Office

Role Overview
The Associate Manager – Data Analytics is responsible for handling the data analysis and database management for the Commercial team. The role holder is also responsible for monitoring, analysing, and reporting on the performance of the business/function.

Role Details – Key Responsibilities And Accountabilities

  • Acquire data from primary or secondary data sources and maintain databases/data systems.
  • Work with management to prioritise business and information needs.
  • Compile and properly store all the data pertaining to International Merchandising & Sourcing departments.
  • Monitor sourcing data to ensure the objectives are achieved, analyse financial impact of price approach in view of overall history and inform relevant stakeholders.
  • Develop and review vendors/competitors pricing and provide it to the merchandising and sourcing teams.
  • Monitor specific merchandising and sourcing processes, collect appropriate data and prepare the relevant reports.
  • Develop database and metrics to conduct comparative studies of all products in stores and products available in the market.
  • Prepare periodical reports, analyse the efficiency of the planning and propose areas for improvement.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, (Master's degree preferred)
  • Strong experience managing e-commerce / Data / digital marketing
  • Expert in SQL, Advanced Excel, other scripting languages (R, Python, etc.)
  • Strong experience with BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, Qlikview, Datastudio, etc)
  • Demonstrated ability to formulate data-driven recommendations that lead to results
  • Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
