Karachi, Sindh, Pakistan HRSG Full time 900,000 - 1,200,000 per year

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise the installation of mechanical systems including HVAC, ducting, chilled water piping, plumbing, and fire protection systems.
  • Review mechanical design drawings and ensure implementation aligns with project specifications and site conditions.
  • Coordinate with electrical, civil, and systems teams to ensure proper integration of mechanical works.
  • Monitor subcontractor performance and ensure timely execution of mechanical activities.
  • Conduct inspections and ensure compliance with HSE (Health, Safety, and Environment) standards.
  • Support Testing & Commissioning (T&C) of mechanical systems and assist in resolving technical issues.
  • Maintain accurate site documentation including red-line drawings, inspection reports, and material logs.
  • Participate in client inspections, punch list resolution, and final handover documentation.
  • Coordinate with procurement and logistics teams to ensure timely delivery of mechanical materials and equipment.
  • Report daily and weekly progress to the MEP Site Manager and escalate any issues affecting schedule or quality.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering.
  • 5+ years of experience in mechanical site execution, preferably in control center, data centers, or critical infrastructure.
  • Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, fire protection, and plumbing installations.
  • Familiarity with integration of mechanical systems with BMS and SCADA infrastructure.
  • Fluent in English and Urdu; additional regional languages are a plus.
  • Strong communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience in utility or smart grid infrastructure projects.
  • Knowledge of QA/QC procedures and regulatory compliance.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, AutoCAD, and site reporting tools.
  • Familiarity with project management platforms (e.g., MS Project, Primavera).
