Key Responsibilities

  • Lead development of React Native/Expo applications with complex geolocation and background processing
  • Architect trip detection algorithms using background geolocation services with battery optimization
  • Build responsive UI components using Radix UI, NativeWind/Tailwind CSS, and React Native Reanimated
  • Implement state management with Zustand and React Query for data synchronization
  • Develop PDF/Excel generation systems for tax reports and business reimbursements
  • Integrate native modules for calendar access, push notifications (OneSignal), and biometric authentication
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation
  • Deployment to TestFlight and PlayStore

Required Skills

  • React Native 0.76+ with Expo SDK 52+ and TypeScript
  • Background Geolocation (react-native-background-geolocation) and trip detection
  • State Management: Zustand, TanStack Query, AsyncStorage
  • UI Development: Radix UI, NativeWind, React Native Reanimated, Gesture Handler
  • Native Integrations: Calendar, Notifications, Biometric Auth, File System
  • Development Tools: EAS Build, Sentry, Firebase Analytics, Jest
  • 5+ years React Native experience with production apps
