The Department of Aeronautics and Astronautics at the Institute of Space Technology in Islamabad offers internationally recognized academic programs in Aerospace engineering. The curriculum is designed to educate students in the fundamental principles of aerodynamics, flight dynamics, propulsion, structural mechanics, flight controls, design, testing, and space technologies through ongoing consultation with students, faculty, industry, and aerospace professionals.
Role Description and eligibility
The Department of Aeronautics and Astronautics invites applications for a full-time, on-site Assistant Professor in Structures, Propulsion, Controls, and Aerodynamics. Candidates must hold a Bachelor's, Master's, and PhD in Aerospace/Aeronautical Engineering or closely related fields, with a strong academic and research background. The ideal candidate will be research-driven, capable of securing funded projects, and committed to advancing the department's research profile through publications, collaborations, and innovative projects.
