THE ROLE
Workpod requires a community and sales associate. This self-motivated applicant will collaborate with internal stakeholders to increase building occupancy and member satisfaction. You will manage all current and new collaborations, close sales and deals, design fun member programs, and make Workpod a key player in the startup environment.
You will work with other groups, represent Workpod at events outside of the facility, and build the Workpod network of partners and mentors. This position requires expertise in sales, customer service, and team management. You must be eager to do the following:
Market:
- You must possess a comprehensive understanding of the sites and structures, as well as the local submarket, which includes knowledge of neighboring attractions, competitors, and pricing.
- Monitor building activity and talk to market support to keep members satisfied.
Product:
- Intimate knowledge of Workpod's places, platform, and value.
Community:
- knowing and communicating with members, future members, and essential internal teams, like the Community and Facilities teams.
Partnerships:
- knowing how to structure transactions creatively to maximize sales and how they fit with Workpod's corporate goals.
This position entails two primary responsibilities:
Community & Sales:
Oversaw the sales cycle for Workpod's products, encompassing inbound leads, pipeline management, demand generation, internal sales partnerships, commercial relationships, and innovative strategies to secure business and effectively onboard new members.
- You are required to submit weekly income and occupancy reports to the management team.
- Facilitate collaboration among Admin, Marketing, and Finance to address client issues effectively.
- Share updates on daily and weekly leads/bookings and communicate information during meetings.
- Deliver weekly and monthly reports on new revenue and the targets for the weekly meeting.
- Assist the marketing team in ensuring that flyers, brochures, and online content on social media and websites are consistent and reflect current offerings and pricing.
- You are responsible for submitting weekly reports to both the Partnerships & Strategy Manager and DM Marketing while also collaborating with other departments.
- You utilize internal marketing materials to craft client communications for events.
Community involvement and experience:
- You are required to update and complete the member records and documentation.
- Help the internal group arrange activities and projects.
- Maintain communication with internal contacts to enhance customer service and encourage participation in internal events.
- Organize gatherings for members to foster a sense of community, engage in networking with company staff, comprehend member requirements, and create opportunities for collaboration to expand the Workpod community.
- For the company's benefit, recommend methods for member experience, sales, hospitality, management, events, and training.
- Get people involved, ask for comments, and talk to operations to make the workplace pleasant, friendly, and professional.
- Ensure that all planned events occur as efficiently as possible.
- Your members should fill out surveys every three months to assess member satisfaction and needs and communicate the results to the relevant places.
Workpod required:
- Workpod requires a local market expert who has at least two years of direct sales experience.
- Communication skills

- Rapid learner and ready to advance in field
- Strong data analysis abilities and a desire to report sales and market trends.
- Quantitative skills to boost sales and analyze internal partners
- Bachelor of business or similar degree
