Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for an Assistant Professor at the Department of Aeronautics & Astronautics. The Assistant Professor (propulsion) will be responsible for teaching courses in aerospace engineering, conducting research, supervising student projects, and participating in curriculum development. They will also be expected to provide academic advising and contribute to the overall academic environment of the department.

Qualifications

• Strong background in Aerospace engineering, including knowledge of aerodynamics, flight dynamics, propulsion, structural mechanics, flight controls, design, testing, and space technologies.
• Experience in teaching at the university level and the ability to effectively communicate complex concepts to students.
• Research experience in the field of Aerospace engineering or related areas.
• Ph.D. in Aerospace Engineering or a related field.
• Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and students.
• Experience with industry collaborations and partnerships is a plus.
• Candidates must be registered with the Pakistan Engineering Council. Preferance will be given to candidates with the Aero PEC number.
