Role Summary

Lead a squad of QAs to ship high-quality releases across multiple products. You'll design test plans/cases, manage JIRA hygiene and defect triage, coordinate with Project Management, and communicate directly with Business stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead, mentor, and schedule a team of QAs; own quality gates for sprints/releases.
  • Author & execute test cases (functional, regression, integration, UAT); maintain suites.
  • JIRA ownership: create/update tickets, add repro steps/evidence, drive priorities/SLAs.
  • Partner with PMO on timelines, entry/exit criteria, go/no-go; report QA metrics.
  • Business-facing: translate requirements to acceptance criteria; support UAT.
  • Collaborate on API/UI test automation priorities and smoke/regression coverage.
  • Coordinate test environments, builds, and release verification.

Must-Have

  • 2+ years in QA/testing.
  • Strong test design and documentation; clear, maintainable test cases.
  • Solid JIRA experience (workflows, dashboards, reporting).
  • Agile/Scrum delivery; excellent English communication (Urdu a plus).
  • Onsite availability in Rawalpindi (no remote).

Nice-to-Have

  • API testing (Postman), SQL for data checks.
  • Test case tools (Zephyr/TestRail).
  • Exposure to Selenium/Playwright/Cypress and CI/CD.

  • Type: Independent contractor/vendor agreement.
  • Hours: Standard PK business hours; release flexibility.
