We are seeking a Cyber Security Associate to help protect our systems and networks from security threats. The role involves identifying vulnerabilities, supporting VAPT efforts, investigating incidents, and assisting in the development of security protocols and disaster recovery plans. Ideal candidates have a strong understanding of network security, are eager to learn, and possess solid analytical skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement security protocols, procedures and systems to protect computer networks and systems from unauthorized access, theft, damage or corruption
  • Identify and resolve security vulnerabilities and issues with computer systems and networks
  • Investigate any suspected security breaches or violations and recommend appropriate courses of action
  • Identify, validating and documenting security vulnerabilities.
  • Develop and implement disaster recovery and contingency plans in case of a security breach or other emergency situation
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging cyber security threats, trends and technologies
  • Participate in the review and triage of vulnerabilities discovered through VAPT activities.

Skills And Requirements:

  • Minimum Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cyber Security, Information Technology or a related field.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in information security with a focus on vulnerability assessment and penetration testing (VAPT)
  • Strong understanding of networking technologies, protocols and security systems.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work well in a team and communicate effectively with others.
  • Strong knowledge of relevant cyber security regulations and compliance requirements.

Nice to haves:

  • Exposure to or understanding of ISO/IEC 27001 and Information Security Management Systems (ISMS).
  • Entry-level certifications such as
    CompTIA Security+, CEH (Practical), or ISO 27001 Foundation
