Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and results-driven
Senior Manager of Business Development
with a strong background in
SaaS sales, Upwork bidding, and local contract acquisition
. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building client relationships, and driving revenue growth across international freelancing platforms and local markets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead business development efforts for SaaS products and IT services.
  • Manage and optimize
    Upwork and other freelancing platforms
    to generate consistent project leads.
  • Prepare and submit
    proposals, bids, and RFP responses
    on Upwork and local procurement portals.
  • Identify, evaluate, and pursue
    local government and private contracts
    .
  • Develop and implement effective
    sales strategies
    to achieve revenue and growth targets.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships to ensure repeat business and long-term partnerships.
  • Collaborate with the technical, marketing, and project teams to ensure proposal accuracy and project delivery.
  • Conduct regular market analysis and competitor research to identify emerging opportunities.
  • Track performance metrics, lead conversions, and maintain accurate sales records.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
  • 2–5 years of proven experience
    in business development, preferably in SaaS or IT services.
  • Strong experience with
    Upwork bidding, client communication, and project acquisition.
  • Familiarity with local contract bidding and tender processes.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills (English proficiency required).
  • Strong negotiation, presentation, and client management skills.
  • Ability to work independently with a results-oriented approach.
  • Proficiency in CRM tools, MS Office, and online collaboration platforms.

Preferred:

  • Experience with international clients and SaaS sales models.
  • Understanding of digital marketing, software development, or tech project lifecycles.
