The role is responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining secure, scalable, and highly available infrastructure that supports enterprise product platforms and cloud-native solutions. It leads DevOps, Infrastructure, and Security Engineering teams to ensure seamless CI/CD automation, efficient resource utilization, and compliance with regulatory standards such as SOC, PCI, GDPR, and GxP. The position emphasizes automation, security integration, and collaboration across product, architecture, and compliance teams.

Responsibilities:

Leadership and Strategy

  • Define and execute DevOps and Infrastructure strategies across cloud and on-premises environments (Azure and GCP).
  • Lead DevOps, Infrastructure, and Security Engineering teams, aligning with product and release objectives.
  • Establish governance for provisioning, CI/CD, monitoring, and compliance.
  • Collaborate with Architecture and Product teams to design scalable and fault-tolerant solutions.

Infrastructure and Cloud Management

  • Oversee multi-cloud infrastructure, networking, VNets, load balancers, and Kubernetes clusters.
  • Standardize environments across development, staging, and production.
  • Optimize costs through rightsizing, reservations, and automation.
  • Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform and cloud-native templates.

DevOps and Automation

  • Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines for applications and microservices.
  • Implement automated testing, deployment, and rollback processes.
  • Manage container orchestration with Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS).
  • Deploy centralized monitoring and logging solutions (ELK, Application Insights).

Security and Compliance (DevSecOps)

  • Integrate security into all stages of the DevOps lifecycle.
  • Oversee vulnerability management, key management, and IAM enforcement.
  • Ensure compliance with SOC, PCI, GDPR, and GxP standards.
  • Lead incident response, disaster recovery, and business continuity planning.

Collaboration and Communication

  • Work with architects, developers, and IT security to maintain reliability and scalability.
  • Collaborate with auditors, cloud providers, and compliance teams.
  • Mentor team members in automation, scripting, and secure engineering practices.

Qualifications:

  • 8+ years in DevOps, Infrastructure, or Platform Engineering roles, with at least 3 years in leadership.
  • Strong expertise in Azure (preferred) and GCP cloud architecture.
  • Hands-on experience with Terraform, Kubernetes, Docker, and Azure DevOps.
  • In-depth knowledge of CI/CD, networking, cloud security, and cost optimization.
  • Experience in regulated environments (SOC, PCI, GDPR).
  • Strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.
