Role Overview

We're looking for a Video Editor who can craft scroll-stopping, highly engaging short-form videos (Reels, TikToks, Shorts) that capture attention, tell stories, and convert viewers into followers or customers.

Responsibilities

  • Edit and produce high-quality short-form content (Reels, TikToks, Shorts, Stories).
  • Add creative transitions, captions, sound effects, and motion graphics that grab attention within the first 3 seconds.
  • Repurpose raw footage, stock clips, and client content into engaging edits.
  • Apply trending music, memes, and effects to make videos relevant and shareable.
  • Work closely with the content & social media team to align with brand voice and campaign goals.
  • Keep up with the latest social media trends, editing styles, and platform algorithms.
  • Deliver videos optimized for multiple formats (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, LinkedIn).

Requirements

  • Proven experience editing short-form videos (portfolio required).
  • Strong command of editing tools (Premiere Pro, After Effects, Final Cut, or CapCut Pro).
  • Understanding of storytelling, pacing, and hooks for social media.
  • Ability to create catchy captions, subtitles, and overlays to boost retention.
  • Creativity in making videos that increase watch time, engagement, and shares.
  • Strong sense of timing, music selection, and rhythm.
  • Able to manage multiple edits/projects under tight deadlines.

Nice to Have

  • Knowledge of basic animation or motion graphics.
  • Experience in working with influencers, brands, or agencies.
  • Awareness of what makes a video go viral.
