Role Description

This is a full-time remote role for a Dari OPI/VRI Interpreter. The interpreter will be responsible for providing Over-the-Phone Interpretation (OPI) and Video Remote Interpretation (VRI) services. Daily tasks include accurately interpreting conversations between Dari-speaking and English-speaking individuals, ensuring clear and accurate communication. The interpreter will also handle a variety of topics, including medical, legal, and technical content.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in both Dari and English languages
• Strong interpreting skills with experience in OPI and VRI is a plus
• Ability to handle various topics including medical, legal, and technical
• Excellent listening and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and in a remote setting
• Familiarity with interpretation ethics and confidentiality standards
• Adequate technical equipment and reliable internet connection
• Relevant certifications or qualifications in interpretation are a plus
• Previous experience in a similar role is beneficial
