We are seeking an enthusiastic and knowledgeable Salesman to join our team. The ideal candidate should have previous experience working in dry fruits stores or stores specializing in pantry items. The candidate should possess knowledge of maintaining, cleaning, sorting, and dealing with dry fruits or pantry shelves. Additionally, the candidate should have experience in handling customer complaints and assisting with purchasing decisions.

Responsibilities:

  • Welcome and greet customers in a friendly and professional manner.
  • Assist customers in finding and selecting the desired dry fruits or pantry items.
  • Maintain and organize dry fruits or pantry shelves, ensuring products are properly displayed and labeled.
  • Monitor inventory levels and inform the store manager when products need to be restocked.
  • Provide information about product features, pricing, and availability to customers.
  • Process customer payments accurately and efficiently.
  • Handle customer complaints and resolve issues in a timely and satisfactory manner.
  • Maintain cleanliness and tidiness of the store, including shelves and display areas.
  • Monitor product quality and ensure adherence to food safety standards.
  • Collaborate with team members to achieve sales targets and improve customer satisfaction.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, new product arrivals, and promotional offers.
  • Assist customers in making purchasing decisions based on their needs and preferences.
  • Offer suggestions and recommendations to customers for complementary products.
  • Operate cash registers, scanners, and other equipment efficiently.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience working in dry fruits stores or stores specializing in pantry items is preferred.
  • Knowledge of maintaining, cleaning, sorting, and dealing with dry fruits or pantry shelves.
  • Strong customer service and communication skills.
  • Ability to handle customer complaints and resolve issues effectively.
  • Familiarity with food safety standards and regulations.
  • Basic math skills and ability to handle cash transactions accurately.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Flexibility to work in shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Physical stamina to stand for long periods and lift heavy objects if required.
  • High school diploma or equivalent qualification is preferred.
