Informatica Developer

Job Summary

We are seeking a passionate Informatica Developer with hands-on experience in Informatica development, SQL writing, and issue troubleshooting. The ideal candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and optimize ETL workflows. Experience with Informatica BDM will be considered a strong advantage.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, enhance, and maintain ETL workflows using Informatica.
• Design and optimize SQL queries for data extraction, transformation, and reporting.
• Perform root-cause analysis and troubleshoot production/support issues.
• Collaborate with data engineers, analysts, and business stakeholders to implement data solutions.
• Participate in code reviews, performance tuning, and data quality checks.
• Ensure timely delivery of assigned development and support tasks.

Required Skills

• 2–3 years of hands-on experience with Informatica development.
• Strong SQL writing skills (joins, subqueries, analytical functions, performance tuning).
• Experience with troubleshooting Informatica workflows, mappings, and sessions.
• Good understanding of data warehousing concepts, ETL processes, and data integration.
• Ability to analyze and debug production issues effectively.

Good to Have

• Experience with
  Informatica BDM (Big Data Management)
  .
• Exposure to cloud data platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP) is a plus.
• Basic scripting (Unix/Shell/Python) knowledge.

• Good communication and documentation abilities.
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team.

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
