Job Description:

We are urgently seeking cashiers for our supermarket located on Raiwind Road in LDA Avenue. The role involves managing cash transactions with customers, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in all dealings.

Responsibilities:

  • Handle cash, credit, or check transactions with customers
  • Scan goods and collect payments
  • Ensure pricing is accurate
  • Issue change, receipts, refunds, or tickets
  • Redeem stamps and coupons
  • Count money in cash drawers at the beginning and end of shifts to ensure that amounts are correct and that there is adequate change
  • Resolve customer complaints, guide them, and provide relevant information
  • Maintain clean and tidy checkout area.

Requirements:

  • Previous cashier experience is a plus but not mandatory
  • Basic PC knowledge and familiarity with electronic equipment (e.g. cash register, scanners, money counters)
  • Strong communication and time management skills
  • Customer satisfaction-oriented
  • High school degree
