Job Description:

AESOM
is actively hiring a detail-oriented and experienced General Contractor (GC) Estimator with at least 2 year of proven experience in U.S.-based construction estimation. This is a key role in our estimating team and requires deep familiarity with U.S. construction practices, tools, and pricing standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Analyze architectural, structural and MEP drawings and specifications to prepare accurate cost estimates

Perform detailed quantity take-offs using digital estimation tools

Collaborate with internal teams and subcontractors to validate pricing

Identify risks, gaps, and potential cost-saving opportunities

Maintain and update cost databases and estimate logs

Requirements:

Minimum 1 year of hands-on experience in U.S. estimation (required)

Strong knowledge of construction methods and materials used in U.S. markets

Proficient in software like PlanSwift, Bluebeam, RSMeans, or similar

Excellent numerical accuracy, analytical skills, and communication

Ability to manage multiple bids and meet tight deadlines

Strong communication skills

Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines

Preferred Qualifications:

Degree in Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveyor, Construction Management, or related field

Prior experience with commercial or residential projects in the U.S.

Understanding of U.S. building codes and local regulations

Proficient in software like PlanSwift, Bluebeam or RSMeans
