Job Description

We are looking for a
Senior PHP Developer
with deep expertise in
Laravel
and
Yii
frameworks, and solid experience working with
AWS
cloud infrastructure. This is a
full-time, in-house role based in our Lahore office
. The ideal candidate is a problem-solver who thrives in a fast-paced development environment and can take ownership of projects from back-end architecture to deployment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, maintain, and scale web applications using
    Laravel
    and
    Yii
    .
  • Manage AWS infrastructure (EC2, RDS, S3, etc.) for deployment, monitoring, and scaling.
  • Collaborate with front-end developers and product managers to deliver high-quality software.
  • Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code.
  • Perform regular code reviews and mentor junior developers.
  • Troubleshoot, test, and maintain the core product to ensure strong optimization and functionality.
  • Ensure the application follows industry best practices, including security and performance tuning.

Requirements

  • 5+ years
    of experience in PHP development.
  • Proven expertise in
    Laravel
    and
    Yii
    frameworks.
  • Solid experience working with
    AWS
    services and cloud architecture.
  • Strong understanding of RESTful APIs, MVC architecture, and database design.
  • Proficient in MySQL/PostgreSQL, Git, and Linux-based systems.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with Docker, CI/CD, or other DevOps tools.
  • Familiarity with front-end technologies like or React is a plus.
