About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced
Fintech Consultant
to join our team and play a critical role in shaping our fintech strategy, product innovation, and market expansion. This individual will act as a bridge between business goals and technological execution, advising cross-functional teams on the design and delivery of secure, scalable, and innovative fintech solutions.

As a subject matter expert, the Fintech Consultant will help guide our initiatives in areas such as digital payments, lending, embedded finance, and banking-as-a-service. The ideal candidate will bring deep industry knowledge, a keen sense of the regulatory landscape, and a strong track record of delivering successful financial technology products.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Advisory & Market Intelligence

• Provide expert guidance on
  product strategy, digital transformation, and go-to-market planning
  within the fintech domain.
• Analyze and interpret
  global and regional fintech trends, market shifts
  , and emerging technologies to inform business decisions.
• Identify strategic
  growth opportunities
  in digital payments, lending platforms, neobanking, wealthtech, and other financial services.

Product & Technology Innovation

• Collaborate with stakeholders to
  design and conceptualize fintech products and platforms
  that meet market needs and regulatory requirements.
• Define
  system architectures
  that are scalable, secure, and future-ready, incorporating emerging technologies such as
  blockchain, AI/ML, open banking APIs
  , etc.
• Translate business requirements into
  technical specifications
  , ensuring the successful delivery of projects through agile methodologies.

Compliance & Regulatory Oversight

• Act as a trusted advisor on
  regulatory frameworks
  , ensuring that all solutions adhere to applicable laws, including
  KYC/AML, PCI DSS, PSD2, GDPR
  , and local financial regulations.
• Liaise with legal and compliance teams to
  mitigate risk and ensure regulatory alignment
  from ideation to launch.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Work closely with
  engineering, product, UX, marketing, legal, and operations teams
  to ensure alignment across all phases of the product lifecycle.
• Provide
  technical and strategic input
  during vendor evaluations, technology partner assessments, and system integrations.

Ecosystem Development

• Build and maintain strong partnerships with
  banks, regulatory bodies, payment gateways, fintech startups, and third-party service providers
  .
• Represent the company in
  industry forums, conferences, and regulatory consultations
  to stay ahead of policy and market changes.

Required Qualifications & Experience

• 8–10 years of experience
  in fintech, digital banking, payments, or financial services consulting.
• Proven track record of
  leading and launching successful fintech products
  or platforms in a B2B or B2C environment.
• Strong understanding of
  financial services infrastructure
  , core banking systems, digital wallets, loan management systems, and/or payment gateways.
• Deep expertise in
  regulatory compliance, data protection, and financial risk management
  .
• Experience working with or within
  regulatory agencies, central banks, or payment networks
  (e.g., Visa, Mastercard, UPI, SWIFT) is a plus.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to
  influence senior stakeholders, deliver presentations
  , and translate technical concepts into business value.
• Strong leadership, stakeholder management, and
  problem-solving abilities
  .

Preferred Skills

• Exposure to
  emerging technologies
  : blockchain, DeFi, machine learning in finance, or digital identity.
• Experience with
  startup ecosystems or innovation labs
  within large financial institutions.
• Prior consulting experience with
  top-tier strategy or technology firms
  is a strong advantage.
